Bill Heinrich, our Director of Mindset, co-wrote the recently published article “Who Coaches the Coaches? The Development of A Coaching Model for Experiential Learning,” with Eleanor Lousin, Caroline Brommel, and Aalayana R. Green, from Michigan State University, (Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology).
In this piece, we look at the strategic deployment of two courses delivered through experiential, interdisciplinary, and project-work, within a high-impact practice framework. This framework was led by the principles of G.O.R.P (Gravity, Ownership, Relationship, and Place) and produced transformative takeaways for teachers and learners.
Bill recently spoke about high-impact teaching practices and incorporating G.O.R.P into teaching practices can elevate impact at BYU’s Experiential Learning Summit Series. To discuss this in further detail, connect with Bill Heinrich, bheinrich@orbiscommunications.com.
