The London Economic Development Corporation & Knighthunter Collaborate with Western University & Fanshawe College to Strategically Leverage Outcome Campus Connect

This partnership will accelerate graduate employment and support businesses in the London area.

London, Ontario:  It will now be easier for students and recent grads to connect with local employers and employment opportunities through a one-post system. The London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), Knighthunter, Outcome Campus Connect (OCC), Western University, and Fanshawe College, have joined forces to accelerate the regional economy while supporting job-seeking recent graduates. Through this strategic partnership, Knighthunter.com has connected the LEDC’s industry-specific job boards with Outcome Campus Connect and is now using OCC’s application programming interface to empower London-based employers to directly reach and recruit student and recent graduate talent from Western University and Fanshawe College. To date, utilizing OCC’s application programming interface and Knighthunter’s integration technology, over 840 postings from LondonMfgJobs.com and LondonTechJobs.ca have been funneled directly into the opportunity boards of the institutions.

OCC is Canada’s experience building and job opportunity resource built for university and college students or recent graduates. Funded by Employment and Social Development Canada and distributed to higher education institutions and employers through a partnership between Orbis and Magnet, the integrated platform enables employers, nationwide, to directly connect to the opportunity boards of universities and colleges across the country. OCC is free for all users in higher education, employment, or post-secondary student communities across the country.

As our nation continues to work toward economic recovery, regional leaders are leveraging OCC’s application programming interface to promote local businesses and employment right at home – from home. All parties involved in this partnership will benefit from OCC’s data-driven specificity, developed to holistically support students with relevant experiential learning and meaningful career opportunities. Orbis, makers of Outcome Campus Connect (OCC) have a two-decade long-standing relationship as a strategic partner working within the higher education community to innovate and support the delivery of student career readiness.
